Hver onsdag skal vi samles for å gå gjenom det som er gjort siden sist møte og hva som trengs å gjøres framover mot festivalen.

Oppstartsmøte for Oslo Queer Festivalen 10. August!

The meeting to start gathring the threads for this years festival will be at Blitz, pilestredet 30e in Oslo, 10th of august, 18.00h

We need people to help organising the festival, plan the program and rehearch exciting projects, as well as help out under the festival with making food, work in the bar, hold a workshop, and be generators!

Oslo Queer inviterer til oppstartsmøte for jobbinga med årets festival 10. August på Blitz, Pilestredet 30e kl.18.00.


Vi trenger folk til å bli med og samle trådene. Bli med å planlegg programmet, finne fram til interessante forestillinger og kunstprosjekter, sørge for et variert musikk program og spennende workshops!


Vi trenger også folk til å være med å jobbe med alt det praktiske under festivalen, lage mat, jobbe i baren, rydde og være vakter!

Oslo Queer Festival 2011 wants you!

Do you want to participate in this years queer festival? Come and make Oslo go Queer 22-25. September!

We want to express ourselves against the gendernorms and make a non-commercial safe space without sexism, racism, prejudice and homophobia!

We are looking for artists to exhibit Art, Videos, Installations and all sort of art, as well as Films, Musicians, Performers, Workshops, Foodmakers, Volunteers and Participants!

We are applying for some money to cover travel costs, so everyone travelling to Oslo Queer Festival can apply to get some travel covered.

Vil du delta i årets festival? Kom og la Oslo gå queer 22-25. september!


Vi ønsker og uttrykke oss mot samfunnets kjønnsnormer og skape et ikke-komersielt trygt rom fri fra sexisme, rasisme, fordommer og homofobi!


Vi er ute etter artister som vil stille ut kunst,  videoer, installasjoner og alle andre former for kunst, slik som filmer, musikere, ulike former for opptredner, workshops, folk til å lage mat, frivillige og deltagere!


Vi har søkt om noe pengestøtte til for å dekke reiseutgifter, så alle som reiser til Oslo Queer Festivalen kan søke om å få deler av kostnadene dekket.

About Oslo Queer Festival:

Oslo Queer Festival is a non-profit festival. We make the festival together and offer vegan and vegetarian food for donations, live music, workshops, discussions, queer art, movies, dancing, Djs and lots of fun!

WHY? 

Oslo Queer Festival wants to create a space where you can feel free to express other forms of sexuality, gender and ways of living than the straight and gay norms we have in today´s society. In this space you should feel free to express yourself without having to deal with any forms of rasism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, ageism, ableism or other repression.

WHO?

Everyone is accepted, independently from their gender identity or sexuality. Explore, experiment, feel open and free to just be yourself. You don´t have to be gay or straight to fit in. You can be bisxual, heterocuriuos, homocurious, cis-gendered, trans*, nothing of the above or all of them. Just come as you are!

D.I.Y.

The DIY/DIT (Do It Yourselves/Do It Together) means that by sharing and volunteering we will all make the festival together. It makes performers, audience and organizers equals. Everyone participates and everyone is included. We make the festival by ourselves and for ourselves because we want to.
